Socks!

Post 9 of ? in the series, "Why I Haven't Blogged in Over Six Months"

I never thought in a million years that I would even want to make an attempt at knitting socks but the miracle of science that is self-striping sock yarn appealed to me in a way I can't quite explain and simply lured me in. I actually finished the pair you see in the pictures back in September and since then I have managed to finish four other pairs with another one on my needles as we speak. I feel like I have graduated into a bigger world of knitting. I'm no longer just a casual knitter (well, was I really ever just a casual knitter?), I'm a sock knitter!

Your socks look great! The self-striping makes such a nice pattern. I'm going to need to take a class on knitting socks soon.

Thanks guys!

Sheila: Just a warning, socks are addictive. Once you figure out you can make them, it's all you want to do.

Oh my gosh I feel like I am going to be placing quite a bit of an order when I get out there. I LOVE THESE Socks I was just in Target looking at getting a pair and decided not to. But um question do you make them in size for small feet? .... guess I will be bringing my check book this Christmas

Sherida, I would love to teach you. I think you would totally dig it.

Lani, yes, I can make them for smaller feet- that's why hand knitting is so great!
